This project is designed to undertake a baseline mapping of potential ecosystem services against which future changes attributable to global change drivers (climate change, land use and land cover change, atmospheric nitrogen deposition, and the impact of exotic species on biotic interactions) can be assessed. It will be complemented by an economic valuation of the extraction of timber and non-timber products and tourism and their impacts on biodiversity conservation.
